Debit order

I've been having issues correcting my debit order date, since my salary date has changed. My account gets debited before the agreed upon date. I spoke to someone last Wednesday, and she assured me that she will get back to me before the end of the day. I am still waiting. What is so difficult about debiting on the correct date???
