Very disappointed in the service I got from Makro Strubensvalley. Placed an order on the 26th of December which was split into 2 orders and were meant to be delivered on the 27th of December, unfortunately when the first driver (Zolisa)got to the location I missed his call so he went back. James who was the second driver managed to deliver to me with no problem. Now the problem started when the delivery was rescheduled for the next day 28th of December but I got an SMS to say that some of the items in my order are out of stock. Called their call centre twice with no assistance and when I tried for the third time and got hold of Melokuhle who transferred me to Mmapula at the strubensvalley branch who as well transferred me to her manager, he couldn't explain how they were out of stock on items that were confirmed and already out for delivery. my question remains what was the driver going to deliver because they only cancelled part of my order the next morning? And when asked when was the cancellation made he said it was cancelled at 12 when the driver tried calling me around 11 to deliver 🙄. No remorse was shown whatsoever, instead I was being shouted at.
