On the 25th I made and paid for an order and was told that it would be delivered by the 1st Nov 2022. On Friday I called in and was told that the parcel was handed over to the courier company at around 12.30pm. I then received an sms on that same day saying my parcel was on its way and I should wait for an sms from the courier team
Today I call Makro to ask for a tracking number as I cannot track anything on the Makro site. I speak to Lerato who tells me that it says on the system my parcel is still Being packed as they are waiting for an item and trying to source it from another store. It turns out that the parcel they are waiting for is the Jungle outs that I was refunded to me days ago.
When I request my refund she says she is checking something on the system. On her return she says she received feedback from someone at the back that their system has not yet updated. I am then given the number for riverside where I call two times (11.39am and 12.23am) and leave my details. I was called back later by a lady who , after checking found that my parcel is still sitting with them.
I then say that those items are needed urgently and I need a refund since I will not get them at 17pm as Makro has said- She said she is transferring me to her boss – Phone rang till it got dropped.
Now finally – I WANT TO KNOW HOW I WILL GET MY REFUND? I REFUSE TO WAIT FOR 7 DAYS AS THESE ITEMS ARE NEEDED AS IN YESTERDAY. Makro said these would be delivered on the 1st Nov and all along you guys have been lying to me while m parcel is sitting n Joburg. No one seems to have a straight answer so I want my money back today. I do not want any stories as I will clearly not be getting this parcel today. The address for this parcel is Bizana just after the Wild Coast Sun but now I am hearing about Mthatha on calls. I ended up getting a callback from Nkosi Hlongwane from the store who said he would do his best to get my refund but I WANT IT TODAY!!!! Someone tell me how I will get my money today !
