Conned into getting the makro card

I am in disbelief of what transpired yesterday at the Crown Mines store. I feel conned into getting the store card/ rewards card even when I don't want it.

After waiting in a long queue, eventually I was sent through to the express collections tills. I was then serviced by Ntokozo Hadebe who blatantly refused to assist me without the card and literally told me I cannot be served if I don't have the card. I was so shuttered and in disbelief that a store could refuse to help me only because I don't have a rewards card.

It doesn't end there, the guy literally removed my trolley to the side and directed me to the customer service counter. As I walked slowly to that counter, I couldn't even find a supervisor or manager on sight at that point. But because I needed to pay for my groceries, I proceeded to wait in yet another queue. Gosh!

I filled in the form for the card but they had issues with the card machines. Okay... after all that was done, I returned to the Express tills only to find the trolley that was parked aside was emptied and the groceries were supposedly taken back to the shelves and fridges. I had to go back again to repurchase the things I had in the trolley. Like wow! I've never been that frustrated in my life.

As for me going back there, NO MORE SHAME!!
