Complain Makro woonderboom

I went to Makro Wonderboom on Saturday to purchase a bottle of honor cognac worth R449. When I got home the bottle in the box still had sensormatic tag on it so I couldn’t open and drink it on that day as planed, so I went and bought another bottle in a local bottle store worth R530.

I called the call-centre same day and they said they will lodge a complain ticket. On the 2nd of January “still no response” I called them again and spoke to two of their consultants, and they finally referred me to makro Wonderboom manager.

The manage only offered R125 for Petrol from where I am to take the bottle back to their store, for a to and fro trip 😒😞

He says nothing about the inconvenience of the extra bottle that I bought the same day with No apology. I mean R125 worth petrol doesn’t even take me to the nearest town 🥺

I an unhappy customer. Also i couldn’t even be transferred to the head office
