Clean chicken before marinating

I have no problem shopping at Makro, however on Sunday I bought chicken at Makro and the chicken had been spiced already. When i got home and unpacked the chicken pieces I had noticed that there were still blood on most of the chicken. I assume when chicken are already marinated that you can cook the chicken and the staff already cleaned the chicken, not spice chicken without cleaning first.
