Chainsaw woes

I bought a chainsaw online from Makro. I did not use it immediately and the first time I used it, I cut down two thin branches with no problems. The second time I used it a few more thinish branches were cut and a couple of thicker ones, then it stopped cutting properly. I took it back to Makro Milnerton and they sent it in for repair. A couple of days later, I got a phone call to say that the chainsaw was blunt and needed to be sharpened at a cost to myself of R80 (I also at that point told them to get a manager to phone me, which was not done). Now I wouldn't normally mind paying to have it sharpened but from speaking with others, I realized that it should NOT be blunt so quickly after so little work. I was also told that the blade should have been quite oily (its self oiling and the oil WAS put in before it was used). I suspect, that the oil was not flowing through correctly and that made the blade get hot and go blunt too soon. I did explain in an email to Makro about the oil issue and referred the email also to the company the chainsaw was sent to for repair. I had NO response, so after a while, I went on FB to Makro SA's page and posted about my issues there. They responded to me saying it had been escalated. Later I got calls from the Manageress at Makro Milnerton which made me realize that she had not even bothered to read the email I had sent. Then all went very quiet and I got NOTHING from Makro SA's fb page or Makro Milnerton. I then AGAIN messaged the Makro SA page only to have them ask for my contact details and Makro card number so they could advise customer care. That means that their previous advise that the issue had been escalated had NOT been acted on. They have now said it will be re-escated, but again I've heard NOTHING from Makro SA or Makro Milnerton. I got the chainsaw because my husband became disabled last year and therefore he can no longer do the gardening so its now up to me and as a 55yr old rather small lady, I needed the chainsaw to cut branches. I'm fed up with the disgusting after sales service from Makro and at this point I don't even want the chainsaw back, I want my money back so I don't have to deal with their alleged service again.
