CANNOT RETURN A MAKRO ONLINE ORDER
I ordered a Mirror for my wife for Mother’s Day. The Mirror that was delivered was nothing what was advertised on the Makro Website. Even the picture on the order is totally different from the product delivered. I am concerned about the strength of the headphone case and therefore I have decided to return the items.
I have been calling the Makro Online Number so many times over the last three weeks that I have lost count, and there is nothing being done to assist me. I want to return 2 products that were ordered. The order number is #OD***. The email reference I have received is [#OLRB] [#OLRC].
I am unable to do the return on the app nor on the Makro website as the items do not appear as ordered. There is nothing under my Order History and I have tried everything to resolve this issue. Every time I speak to somebody I am advised that the matter will be escalated and someone will contact me. Only a Consultant by the name of Karobe contacted on the 16 May 2025 and was going to escalate the matter further but nothing was happened since. I have also driven to MAKRO Pietermaritzburg to request their assistance and still nothing.
I cannot believe that a Major Retailer as MAKRO does not know how to resolve simple customer issues.
I called again the ***on Thursday, 22 May 2025 and spoke to a Call Centre Consultant named Mpume and asked to speak to her Manager. I was told that her Manager Elizabeth Mabadi will call me back. I was sure that this will never happen as this is how MAKRO treats their customers.
Its 24 hours and I am still awaiting for Elizabeth Mabadi to call.
I will appreciate if a Senior Manager can contact me to assist me to resolve my issue. All I want is to return the items and get my money returned to me.
