Cancelled order, no explanation

Why are you accepting payments on orders you cannot fulfill? Made an online purchase on Friday and today again since items were showing as available in stock, I just received a notification now that my order has been cancelled, no explanation or mention of my refund. I can only assume you don’t have stock. This is unacceptable, I should have read the reviews before buying.
