Camp Master Dome tent returns

I bought a Camp Master 510 Ripstop Canvas Dome tent from Makro on 30/09/2014 for R4300, meant for the Christmas holidays. I set the tent up in my back yard (same day) to ensure everything was included and that the product was in working order. I dismantled the tent (same day) and stored it in my garage until 13/12/2014 when my wife and I went on annual leave, camping (planned for 3 weeks, had to return after 2 weeks due to tent damage)<br> The tent leaked, a rope connection stitching came undone (thanks cable ties quick fix) and parts of the tent itself friction shaved through to the pole, as in physical holes formed where the steel trellis keeps tent up.<br> I thus cut my vacation short and returned home very disappointed and took the tent back.<br> They told me because I bought the tent end Septemeber, I could not get my money back and that the tent should be sent to the supplier. They would investigate and the process would take 14 to 21 days. Tent was taken back 06/01/2015, it is now 28/01/2015.<br> I have no tent, I am out R4300, contact people are on leave, other personnel do not come back to you as they promised after YOU phone them to follow up, no one can tell me what the heck is going on
