Buy form Take a Lot and not Makro

Ordered an item online couple weeks before lockdown. 2 days before lockdown, I called to find out what the status of the order is. Numerous calls and emails later no answer. 3 days before lockdown ended, I received an email stating that the item can be collected after lockdown. Saturday I went to Makro Meadowdale only to be told that the order is not there. I wanted to know why, to my total and utter astonishment I was told they do not know, what a shock. I showed them the email and asked them to find out why i received the email confirming the item is there. Did they try to find out, obviously not. Then the story changes, i am then told the item is non essential and will have to wait. I then asked them why the previous clients were able to collect items such as a wine rack, pots for plants, ice buckets, etc clearly these items are also non essential, guess what, just received blank stares. Makro clearly have staff that are ***********.
