Broken items
Dear Makro.
You have over 17K negative reviews while your positive reviews are far less than 2K, it’s not surprising or shocking but a proof how pathetic and disgusting Makro as a business is.
Makro delivered broken items about a month ago, even to this day I’m still waiting for them to come and collect, no communication whatsoever.
Such an inconvenience

Last year I received a call from a courier guy who told me they thought I was in Elliot cause they’re there to deliver but I should not worry the following day they’ll come and collect. Follow day the same guy called to complain that I’m in a rural area so they’ll need to ask their manager if they can come and collect but they never came or called again.
The same courier guy who delivered these item in the rural is the same courier guy that needs permission to go to a rural area address because it’s not allowed.
I guess the only fool here is me

17 Jan 2025, 12:43That’s a lie, the courier guy called twice, it’s just that I can’t post the number here but I do have the details of both calls including the number. They called me on the 18th and advised ne that they were supposed to come collect the items but they’re in Elliot not Cala so they come tomorrow, the 19th they didn’t call then the 20th they called but when I advised them about my address, they guy said they need to ask their manager if they can come since the address is in the rural area and they never called back again.
So it’s a lie whatever the courier guy is saying and I do have the details of the call.
They can call me but on my address there is always someone as we running a farm business in it.

Thursday I received an email stating that on Friday courier guy will come collect the broken items, I rep**** on the email advising them that everything is packed securely and it’s waiting for them to collect.
Friday after 14:00PM I sent an email to Lerato advising her that no one has called but the email wasn’t answered or called by courier guy.
