big for nothing !

Absolutely disappointing! I visited Makro's website on the 19/12/2018 looking to purchase Playstation and Xbox games for my nephews and brothers for Christmas. i came across the best deal ever and told myself, "Makro is the best, with the best always ". after viewing the unbelievable deal, i thereafter contacted 3 family members to take advantage of this great deal. I purchased a total of 4 games from Makro Online. everything went well including payments and notifications.

2 hours later i receive a notification via email from makro that the order has been cancelled due to misinterpretation of the product and the price was completely wrong on the website. My point is that gaming is a big market in South Africa, especially with the younger people. A multi million rand company that makes a mistake online is honestly a joke. the best part is the email i received after this ignorance. "Please refer to our T & C's" under "Obvious Errors". My question to you as the consumer is, if a company can state a price for a product and they allow you to purchase it and only thereafter notify you that it was a mistake on their side and your order is cancelled and you will be refunded in certain amount of days, would you still trust the integrity of the organisation??..

not only has Makro inconvenienced me and my Family & friends, they also had the pleasure of notifying me i can expect a refund after 7 - 10 working days. Thank you Makro! for ruining my brothers and nephews Christmas. i will ensure that no one in my Family and friends ever uses Makro again.
