Beware of Makro Online
Not normally one for online purchases as if you cant hold it see it and check that it is what they say it is, then it is not what one ordered. I recently purchased a 8 channel NVR recorder to upgrade my NVR set up. It was advertised on Makro Online website as a branded product that was recommended by several CCTV installers. So the unit arrives no branding, a total Fong Kong ******* and no way compatible with my NVR camera's. I find it very disturbing that Makro allows these third party vendors to trash their brand. Tomorrow will have to go through the arduous task of sending it back for a refund, but had to warn other potential online shoppers that the brand can no longer be trusted.

05 Feb 2023, 13:56that was very quick, and so sad that one has to employ people to catch the flack on a Sunday ....yes very inconvenient for me and my household as we have an installer on site since yesterday and I am being heavily chastised for this purchase as it is going to cost me/us far more than what was budgeted for this expansion project, as I now have to loan a unit from the installer and now pay a heavily marked up price for a better quality urgent replacement. And for a product that I heavily researched before purchasing yet have been duped by being supp**** a product that is so greatly inferior to what was advertised under your brand.

06 Feb 2023, 15:06Getting the royal run around on trying to have my complaint of yesterday resolved as the Makro online returns portal will not accept the mandatory JPEG images of the product but I get this pearl of a miscommunicated reply from a business that is situated 700m from my front door.

What Makro do not understand at this point in time that it tantamount to ***** in having a vendor send an alternative product than the one that they have advertised and invoiced for.
Then the absolute bungling or deliberate intention to goad me by having this c&p communication. April fools day is still far away.
