Bennett Read is POOR Quality don't buy it from MAKRO

Hi Consumers,

I'm here to warn you regarding buying the brand called Bennett Read from any Massmart/Makro stores. The quality is **** and the service is horrible. On the 01/10/2025(This month), I visited the Woodmead Makro branch looking for a reliable iron. A rep from a company manufacturing the Bennett Read brand, Tevo, kept pushing and convincing me to buy one of their expensive models for R599.00. But merely two weeks later, the iron just suddenly stopped working. I then took it to Makro Centurion and Tevo consultants who were present at the store, had it tested, and they confirmed that it's indeed not working. I was told it would be booked for repair and that I should only expect it after THREE WEEKS. Mind, this is a new iron I've paid R600.00 for, and now I have to wait another three weeks. Makro doesn't CARE or want to refund me.

PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF A FAVOUR, DON'T BUY ANY ELECTRONICS FROM MAKRO OR MASSMART STORES AS THEIR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IS SO HORRIBLE
