Bennet and Read Kettle bought at Makro!

First If I could give lesser star review I would!

I bought a kettle on the first of August 2025, its a bennet and read kettle, lasted 15 days its keeps tripping my main switch power and doesn’t work anymore, so took it back as it has a 2 year warranty, they said that it is has passed their 14 day return policy! Which is ridiculous as Checkers, Spar, and House and Home even Clicks, would have returned it instantly and would have got a replacement no questions asked so if you buying any electronics from Makro, make sure it breaks within the 13 days because on the 14th day you gonna have to return it and probably wait another 2 months for feedback as they wouldn’t even return my money immediately or give me a replacement kettle! I also want to state that a person only buys a kettle when your current one breaks which we can all agree is about 5 years + no matter the brand! So now I have no kettle no extra funds to replace it and no kettle at all! And I must say that how do you fix a brand new kettle that is faulty from new! It will cost more than just to replace it! The Service is ridiculous, and not their problem I guess!

So guys hope it breaks or is faulty within 13 days because on the 14th day you will have to stand and give it in for repairs only! Such a big company as massmart can’t even replace a kettle! I guess this is how they force to take another product like a Makro loan!
