Badly manufactured goods

We bought a flat screen TV at Macro Faeriglen , we assembled it as per the directions in the manual. But the way it was so loose we went to report it to the store and we were told that we were given every thing we needed to assemble the TV. They were told that it is too loose that we are scared it might break, 3 days later the TV broke. We then took it back to the store who told us that they will be giving us a quotation. It is now about everything weeks that we have been waiting and when we call for follow ups we are forever told that they will get back to us. This TV has been bought on credit and I am sure they will be expecting a payment for it. Please help as this is totally frustrating and unacceptable.
