Bad service from Makro

Makro Springfield park. Went in today at 09h00 to purchase items and use my gift card, only to be told that the gift card payment system is offline. This is the first time that I have heard of such nonsense. I left my contact details to be contacted and no response. I phone in again and am told that there is no floor manager to speak to. This is bad service all round, especially since a gift card cannot be used due to an online issue??? Where is the backup in place to assist herein?
