Bad Service

I’ve generally found Makro to be a convenient and well-stocked store, especially for bulk purchases and household essentials. Their pricing is often competitive, and the variety of products available makes it a reliable one-stop shop.

However, my recent experience with their delivery service was disappointing. The courier assigned to my order was rude and unprofessional, even going as far as abruptly ending a call while I was still speaking. While I understand that delivery staff may be under pressure, this kind of behaviour is unacceptable—especially when they represent the Makro brand as third-party service providers.

Makro has built a strong reputation over the years, but service quality—particularly in delivery—needs improvement. Better oversight of third-party couriers would go a long way in protecting customer trust and maintaining the brand’s goodwill.

Overall, Makro remains a reputable retailer, but customer service consistency, especially in deliveries, needs serious attention.
