BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO PROTECTION OF CUSTOMER AT MAKRO

II purchased a tyre from Makro, supp**** by Shortys Tyres, and had it fitted just a week ago. However, my excitement was short-lived. After taking my car for a wash, I noticed air leaking from the tyre. Upon returning to the fitment centre, the issue was diagnosed as an internal damage to the tyre.

To my astonishment, Shortys Tyres claimed it was my fault and refused to provide a refund. As a customer, I expect a basic level of quality and durability from products, especially from reputable brands like Makro and Shortys Tyres.

The lack of guarantee on tyres is alarming, and the poor customer service from Shortys Tyres is unacceptable. I waited for a month for resolution, only to be met with resistance and refusal to cooperate
