Bad customer service

I bought a Bennett Read washing machine less than 2 months ago. When i opened machine it released some water which indicated to me that someone had previously used it. Last week, the machine started malfunctioning by washing clothes to no end. I contacted the Makro last week and they told me they'd send technicians in 72hrs. I followed up 72hrs late and they said they'd escalate. It's been 172hrs since i last reported the issue and there's been no word. Now i'm left here with a washing machine that does not work and the retailer could not care less because they'd rather not spend money on the warranty that they promise customers. I will also be reporting this to the CGSO.
