Are you serious?

<p>My boyfriend walked into your store today intrigued by all the deals and sales. He went on his way shopping as usual but when he go to the till he was told that he could not buy without a makro card. He then clarified that he was not buying on account but cash as he thought it was a joke. According to the consultant you can't buy in your stores without a card from Makro. We don't have a Makro account card and when he told her, she said he had to sign up for a rewards card then or else he could not buy. </p> <p> </p> <p>Taken aback he confirmed with her again that she was saying that he couldn't buy at all because he didn't have and account or rewards. After speaking to a co-worker she confirmed that he could not buy cash andand would have to leave the store.</p> <p> </p> <p>He was very irritated by the fact that he wasted help time while he could've been told in the first place. </p> <p> </p> <p>Is this seriously a thing in your stores or are your consultants just misinformed?</p>
