Makro at Montague gardens Cape Town expect customers to buy items at a higher price than advertised. The manager at toys department wasted my time today – 12 October 2023. Firstly, she made me wait for more than 10 minutes when she finally came, she didn’t bother to apologize, asked the teller about the price the scanner is showing. She then insisted I buy the item at that price. I asked we go to the isle so that she can show me the correct price, we got to the isle the price she was talking about was not displayed in the whole isle, but she still insisted I CANNOT GET IT AT A DISPLAYED PRICE. After she wasted so much of my time I couldn’t argue anymore. This store discriminated me because I’m black and female. She didn't even apologies for wasting my time and the inconvenience caused. I still cannot believe I went ahead and paid for other items.
