ALWAYS CHECK MAKRO SLIPS

If i could have the option of -5 stars, i would give that. We went to do our montly shopping at Makro Carnival today. We know what is the cost more or less each month and the "specials" they are having on stuff that we do buy was good. We got to the cashier and packed my own bags as always because there is so many staff standing around but never mind. "Discount" calculated and only R100 off. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE WE ONLY BOUGHT SPECIALS!!! Got to the car I said to my husband I am not comfortable somithing is not right. I went back into the store with my slip....AND OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I spoke to a supervisor and asked that we recalculate and double check my slip. We noticed more than 40 items on that slip did not go off as per the special. She called the food or sales manager whatever his role is. And he told me they only noticed it this morning.....SO MAKRO HERE IS MY QUESTION HOW CONVENIENTLY DID YOU ONLY PICK THIS UP THIS MORNING? HOW MUCH MONEY HAVE YOU BEEN *****ING FROM PEOPLE WHO JUST PAY AND WALK OUT NO QUESTIONS? THIS SPECIAL IS ALREADY RUNNING SO HOW MUCH MONEY HAVE YOU BEEN MAKING ACTUALY BY TAKING FROM PEOPLE!! TIMES ARE TOUGH AS IT IS AND YOU JUST TAKE HOW IS THE TRUST RELATIONSHIP NOT BROKEN KNOWING WHATS HAPPENING?. After going through my slip Makro had to refund me the amount of R805. The People next to me also questioning their shopping had to get a refund of R933?. This is ridiculous to say the least and thats to still put it nicely.
