Advertising stock that the company has nothing off

Good Day<br> <br> Last week I went onto makro's website and saw they had advertised Seagate external hard drives 500gig, product ID- 256185EA at R599, I went to the Pietermaritzburg store to purchase 3 units and I was told they are out of stock and they would get back to me. I went in again on Saturday and spoke to Rasigan who is in charge of that department he said he will speak to hes manager Deon and get back to me. Monday morning I called them back, I spoke to Deon and I was told that the add was placed by head office, he had checked for the stock and they are only 2 units available in the whole of makro. One in woodmead and I don't recall the second place he had told me about. This is not ethical at all, how can you advertise stock that you don't have?! It is misleading the public and had put me through a lot of difficulty!!
