My experience has been absolutely ********** with Makro I made a purchase on Friday the 20th of June.

After having noticed that they funds were deducted off my account yet I did not get an order number- I immediately made contact with them to find out what is going on.

One of their consultants made contact with me and advised that because it’s an eft the to a different bank it will take a few days to clear.

I further asked if this will affect my delivery turnaround time and I was assured that it won’t as they can see the funds however my bank need to release them.

I was asked to send proof of payment, which I gladly did. Mind you I sent this proof of payment about 3 times and no one acknowledged it until I had made multiple follow ups.

Now, at this point I’m annoyed because I’m being kept in the dark and there’s no transparency whatsoever. But what really has me losing my marbles is the fact that.

Today is my supposed delivery day and now I get a call being told that they need to process my refund because they had changed their systems and the funds are not clearing.

Which is honestly a damn lie and I will not take it. Also why the hell should I wait 14 days for my own money to be refunded.

I bought those items because I need them…

This is totally unacceptable, how are you refunding an amount you saying has not reflected on your end? Make it make sense.

See now, I work for a financial institution and that’s how I know that this is bull****, it takes up to 3 days for money to clear in your bank accounts and that’s on a worst case scenario.

So I would like to know what is the real reason my order was not processed, is my money not good enough for you?

And if you process that refund I want my money immediately because when I made the purchase it was deducted immediately.

So I suggest you process it as an immediate payment. I’m so disgusted in how you handled my situation to say the least.

Dealing with different consultants who are giving different information for the same query has been nothing but a reflection of incompetency!
