I was glad to purchase my LG Smart TV from Makro South Africa , Amanzimtoti Branch. I had purchased an extended warranty from the store which expires in April 2020 . My remote didn't work and requested Makro to assist only to find out that the the extra R 759 spent on extended cover doesn't replace the remote. After explaining to the store manageress and custoner care - I must travel to pay from my pocket and purchase a remote from a service provider at a distance , expensive and operating at inconvenient times...I don't like Makro for treating me this way....
