8 Calls, 5 Follow-Ups – No Invoice, No Escalation Path, No Accountability

After 8 calls to the call centre and 5 follow-ups on a logged ticket, I am still unable to obtain a simple invoice for goods that were delivered more than two weeks ago. What should have been a routine administrative request has turned into an unnecessarily prolonged and frustrating process.

I have repeatedly explained that the invoice is not accessible on the online platform. The order status still reflects “In Progress,” despite delivery having been confirmed. During one of the calls, the agent contacted the courier company while I was on the line to verify delivery, which was confirmed. Yet the issue remains unresolved.

A ticket was logged and later marked as “resolved,” even though absolutely nothing was resolved. When I continued to follow up, I was informed that I had “called too many times,” despite the matter still being outstanding. That response is deeply concerning.

More troubling is the complete absence of a meaningful escalation pathway. I have repeatedly requested to speak to a supervisor or manager and have been refused each time. On one occasion, the call was terminated when I requested escalation. On another, I spent approximately 40 minutes on the line without meaningful assistance. There appears to be no mechanism available to customers to escalate unresolved issues beyond the frontline call centre.

A review of HelloPeter comments suggests that this is not an isolated experience. The pattern of unresolved complaints and lack of escalation access appears consistent with what I have experienced.

I have documented the entire process, including dates, call details, ticket updates, and responses received. Given the continued lack of resolution and the absence of management engagement, I am escalating this documentation to Walmart senior management for review.

This is not about the value of the purchase. It is about governance, accountability, and customer service standards. After 8 calls and 5 follow-ups, I am still waiting for:

The invoice to be emailed directly to me. Direct engagement from a manager or supervisor. An explanation as to why my ticket was closed without resolution.

This situation should never have reached this point.

Reviewer Update
Good day

I received the email stating that the issue has been resolved. However, I am still unable to access the invoice.

Based on this, the issue clearly does not appear to be resolved. Could you please clarify how this has been addressed?

Also, does it normally require multiple phone calls and emails to resolve an issue that originated on your side?

Regards,
