5 year warranty is a ****

So much for a 5 year warranty on my sinotec television which has a faulty HDMI slot, they take your details and promise to escalate but keep quiet thereafter. Follow up emails are not attended to. Eschel Steele from the online support team gave us false hope about having the TV replaced/repaired... The communication was prompt until I provided details of the appliance. Makes one wonder if the warranty is just a way to lure customers to purchase from Makro.
