2 -5 working day delivery time is not true

I bought a smar****ch from Makro which was only available "On-line" and had a delivery timeframe of 2-5 working days, today is the 5th working day and my order still reflects as Order confirmed, i have called in the past 3 days to get an update and it all sums to "We cannot confirm when you will get your item, we have escalated the issue". Iam greatly disappointed and considering a refund but from past experience this will add more days and frustration to my wait.
