Wonderboon Makro,

I recently bought a washing machine (Defy) from Makro and just started using it on Sunday the 21 Dec. To my surprise the washing machine was leaking, it puts in water and wash and drain the water, it leaked when it put the second water to rinse, I had to stop the machine and went to Makro Woodmead, but unfortunately it was already closed, I went to Makro Wonderboom on Monday the 23 where I actually bought the machine, and the call was logged with Defy Technicians.

The Technician came today Wednesday 24th to check the machine, and he sent me this message

“You washing machine out drum is broken because you have not taken out the shipment bracket warranty does not cover“

1. The guys that delivers the machine NEVER said I need to remove anything, 2. I don’t even have the tools of any sort even the hammers nor a *****, 3. I am a women that lives alone and do not know anything about handy tools 4. If I was told that something needed to be removed, I would have asked any man I know to come and help me.

I therefore request Makro to replace the machine as I do not have money to pay for placement of anything, if they can’t replace it they will have to refund my money back
