So much potential but so disappointed

Although the gardens are beautifully maintained and the River Chapel is amazing, I believe that the Management has lost the plot. This is just a business for them - which is understandable, but their T&C's, emails and service needs to be addressed. The staff are unfriendly and abrupt - only 'doing their jobs'. The accommodation is not just shabby, but in dire need of a spring clean - basics that have no excuse for the prices that are charged. We stayed in a house called the River Lodge together with many spiders and creepy crawlies. Thankful that it was only for 1 night. If Management could revamp the buildings and contents, it would be possible for this to be a wonderful venue. Not a 'Kyk weer'
