Refurn of my deposit

HI All

I trust you are well.

1st, Please do not play games with us here, when I was informed that my guest are drinking alcohol in the car, i was asked to speak with them, and warned that this is the final warning, I spoke with everyone and the MC also announced that it will affect us if they still do it, all my guest asked how could they be at 2 places at the same time, be in the venue and also in cars drinking, which made no sense! Please provide us with evidence that after we were warned of this, my guest still drank from their cars. i find it absolutely ridiculous from Makiti that such ******* is being done and said when its time to pay back the deposit. Our guest were informed that if they needed to drink their alcohol, they needed to pay a fee of R70, which later changed to R150, when they wanted to pay, none the less, my guest respected Makiti and still paid those R150 to have they bottles in the venue, so please dont come here with stories.

Secondly, When we received the final "invoice" which stated that our total amount was R77.000, we deposited R80.000 into Makiti's account, so that if the are any addition penalty fees that needed to be paid, I could then be deducted from that amount, It is not our responsibility that YOU (Makiti) decided not to deduct from the amount we paid to Makiti, and that YOU (Makiti) did not send a final "updated" invoice!

Do not try be ****** and rob people, this should have been communicated on the night on=f the event,

There is a show on SABC 2 called "speak out" which exposes crocks just like Makiti, im sure you dont want such publicity.

Please can we have our deposit into my wife's account by COB Friday!!!

Note I will expose Makiti on the media and all social sites!!!

I want my deposit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Makiti team went out of our way to assist the couple after the bride begged the venue not to cancel their wedding. The wedding was to be paid in full on the 3rd November. The couple ignored phone calls and emails. We eventually made contact, just to hear that they did make payment and will send proof of payment, the next story was that they are actually on their way to the bank to pay. This was also not true. Still no payment. The décor, flowers and venue invoices were all outstanding. The payment for the venue was only received on the 16th November, wedding to take place on the 18th November. Makiti team had to organize everything at the last minute. Penalties that were added to the outstanding amount were allocated to pay décor and flowers to save the day. There would have been no centre pieces or flowers for the wedding, but Makiti team decided to save the day and still make it a memorable day for the couple. There was no extra money as 2 invoices were still outstanding. Makiti team did bend over to save the day. We await a public apology, and will most certainly take the matter further.
