Makiti refuses to give us money back after cancelling hosting us due to the president address

We have booked sunset venue at makiti wedding venue for the 29 December 2020.The president addressed the nation on the 28 December 2020 moving the country to level 3 which prohibits gathering. In the morning on the wedding ANGELIQUE HOUGH called me and told me they can’t host the wedding. We then requested them to refund our money which is R50k and they are refusing to refund us.we are willing to forfeit the deposit money so they can reimburse our money we paid for the venue since they are the once’s who breach the contract.
