I don’t recommend Makgoka Traveling Agency!!

This is the most disappointing travelling agency one can ever travel with. It is run by amateurs who don’t know what they are doing and don’t even show interest in the tourism industry. If you’re from joburg don’t even try. I was travelling with them from joburg to durban and was told they don’t do pick ups in joburg whereas in the beginning I was told that they do. And now When it’s time to leave I was told to go to mall of africa which is like more than an hour’s drive from where I stay. And despite me trying to explain to them how impossible that would be for me they refused to agree on a convenient location to pick me up. Another thing, We had initially asked to be booked into two twin rooms because there was 4 of us and a baby but When we got to the hotel we were given 1 tiny twin room with 3 single beds. There wasn’t even 1 tour organiser travelling with us it was just the driver who is clueless about the business and nonchalant. The whole trip was like a primary school trip and was rushed because they squeezed many attractions in one day. They don’t even know anything about the attractions and what activities they offer and get offended when we decide to take a detour and explore on our own. When we came back I politely asked the driver to drop me off at a garage next to n3 because I had arranged with a friend to pick me up there cos that’s closest to where I stay and he refused saying that he doesn’t do off ramps and was left by the secluded unsafe highway. I do not recommend Makgoka traveling agency to anyone. They are unprofessional, unreasonable, inconsiderate, narrow and backwards minded amateurs.
