Makanda Finance not responding to closing of accounts

I have sent emails to Makanda finance on numerous occasions asking that they remove the active status on my credit report as the account has been paid up long ago. They have not responded to my request and this is affecting my credit score negatively. All I want is for the status to be changed as closed!!!!!
