Majorca Island 112
I chose this location and apartments due to its location and facilities. The staff , especially the security are super friendly and really helpful. These apartments are so poorly maintained and over priced. Towels were over used and seriously needs replacing. Stayed at Majorca's self catering apartments from the 14th December to the 29 December . Had 3 changes at this stay but the first two apartments were beautiful, not great but the views made up for it. My long stay apartment they gave me was so over priced and of such poor quality I had no words (17th Dec to 29th Dec). Moved to a curried aroma apartment overlooking a rather untidy staff balcony below (Apartment 112 Majorca Island). View of someones untidy and messy balcony, whether it was the staff hangout or storage I did not want that view. Bathroom of the main bedroom was mouldy in the ceiling and bins left without plastic liners made me evaluate the cleanliness of this apartment. Not sure if they expect the guests to but their own toilet paper but I was not impressed. From the other bathroom a rotting piece of the ba*****t frame from the flooring keeps coming loose with other grime and dirt connected. Floors in the apartment were dirty and looks like it was never cleaned. Place mats to eat on I never used because it was so dirty, ended up buying quite a bit of my own kitchen utilities (sponges for the dishes, dishwasher liquid, drying clothes, cups and glasses and pans) as I never had any confidence in the cleanliness of the apartment. My holiday started on a flat note as I love cooking my own meals and on this note I got the self catering apartment instead of a hotel (which would have been cheaper and more worth it). Everything in the apartment had me on red alert in regards to cleanliness. Was not what I expected , coming all the way from the UK and on a long term rental to such a state of a place with a curry aroma daily and a beautiful messy balcony below to fill my view. Had two working TV channels and a poor internet connection. Will not recommend these apartments overall, the management is aware of their poor state of apartments but when they received the feedback they just laughed and shrugged it off. This is the reflection of the attitude behind the service their clients are getting and I was shocked by their response. Easy for management to laugh about it because it is not their money being spent on a quality of service they clearly not meeting. A cleaner I spoke with who cleans the apartments has shared similar feedback and it has been coming for months but clearly no one has made a move to up the quality of the apartments or the raggedy towels which gets passed on from one apartment to another on a daily basis for their tenants to use. For me this shows no regard to the quality of their service or respect for those customers paying thousands of rands to get the quality they pay for. This includes me. I will not recommend this holiday self catering apartment, I have stayed at the Knightsbridge apartments and would highly recommend them. Please do your research carefully before booking with this company, it is not worth the fortune.
