Terrible Service

<p>Melanie at Major Kim Properties in Fishhoek has caused us many problems since we signed a lease agreement with them for an apartment in Simonstown. </p> <p>They have provided us Estimated electricity bills for the past 3 months which is triple our usual bill and demand that we pay it, when we asked for an actual reading, they threatened to shut off our electricity and said that we must pay the estimate and await for CoCT to refund us the money. The problem is for the last 2 months, we have been on a prepaid electricity meter and have still received these ridiculous estimates. </p> <p>My husband had to call CoCt and ask why we are only receiving estimates and not readings, they said that the estate agent never availed themselves to open the area where the electricity box is. This has caused us so much stress. To top it off, they kept charging interest on the bills we refused to pay and in the end when they eventually took the readings, it seems like we do not owe them a cent!</p> <p>This company treats tennants with such disrespect.</p>
