MAIZEY ROODEPOORT NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISCOMMUNICATION

I am extremely disappointed at the service received from Maizey Plastic Roodepoort, Winze Drive, Stormill, Roodepoort. I went and ordered polycarbonate sheets for sky lights and made it very clear that I needed Opal / opaque sheets. 10 sheets were ordered and paid for coming to a total of R33186.24. To my surprise, on day of installation, clear sheets were delivered. I immediately contacted Keanan at the sales counter - at which point I was told that these do not come in opal but only clear and bronze. He promised to speak to his line manager to get this resolved as it was clearly a "mistake" Long story short ... after several phone calls of which I was never the recipient of ANY, I was then told by the manager, Sharon Murphy, that I have signed the Pro-forma for clear sheets and that they are not willing to replace this. She sent me the pro-forma that showed my signature. Perhaps call it my fault for not looking at the detail after the sales person, Keanan, mislead me in understanding that I will receive OPAL sheets what I paid for R33K. After years of doing business with this company it has become apparent that I can no longer be promoting this business, and am therefor forced to lodge a formal complaint to the ICASA.
