Disappointed in Renders and Lack of Communication

We contracted Christo Nel and his partner of Maia Designs Pty Ltd in 2014, to draw up x8 interior renders for a luxury villa. <br> <br> They informed us, that they could execute the work in the deadline given. <br> We informed them that we would expect detail in the work and that our client was fussy about detail. <br> <br> They informed us they were not busy and would take on the work without a problem.<br> <br> They were late with their delivery and we could tell that they had rushed the drafts without thought, from our own experience with renders.<br> <br> We later became aware by returned papers mixed up with our papers, that they had taken on other work which was more important to them, after promising us they had no other work, and would take on our work only. This was a broken promise.<br> <br> We gave a substantial deposit for all x8 renders and were very disappointed in their basic draft renders which our client rejected.<br> <br> We are still waiting for a refund of R 10,100.00 to date.<br> <br> Their settlement figure was not justifiable and they did not bother to contact us after numerous invoices sent .
