Mahindra West Rand - we don't work on cars owners have worked on!

We like Mahindras - in our close family we still have 7 of them - 2 XUV500's and 5 Scorpios. My one Scorpio DC overheated at 145000km and I replaced the engine with one from a salvage yard. Having fitted it quite meticulously I started it today (started first time) but does not want to rev beyond 2000rpm. Drove it to Mahindra West Rand for their advice and possibly to get them to tune it, or whatever needs doing to sort it out. I asked Theuns (the service advisor) for his opinion. First question he asked in return is who worked on the vehicle. When I said I had replaced the engine his response was that they don't work on vehicles that owners had worked on themselves - he did not even want to have a look at my vehicle which was idling outside! What a ridiculous response - one would think that they as a dealership would want to see as many satisfied Mahindra owners on the road as possible to market the brand - but not them! The car is going to an independent workshop with a dyno facility and a very good reputation to sort it out tomorrow. They accepted the enquiry with open arms - hungry for business - unlike Mahindra West Rand who does not want clients at all. I will NEVER support Mahindra West Rand ever again!
