Terrible after sales service at Mahindra
I know how damaging a bad review can be to a business but after battling for a year and a half now - I am at my wits end ...
I am reaching out to anyone who can possibly help about the difficulties I have been having with my Mahindra Kuv Dare 2+
I purchased the vehicle last year July 2021 from a gentleman named Paul.
Upon purchasing this vehicle I had no aircon vent distributors (the small plastic goody that moves the aircon left or right) the petrol cap was skew and the car was full of terrible paint chips. The ratio was (and is still faulty and there was and still is a problem with the ball joints) I do not know if this has ever been resolved.
Paul promised to get me some touch-up paint and to get back to me to resolve all the other issues.
Subsequently, he resigned and it took me a month to get everything fixed.
During that process, I started dealing with Sean at the Eastrand branch and he kept my car for a few days only to phone me back and tell me that I must come to bring the car back at a later date when they have the parts.
I then ended up being transferred to the new service department in Edenvale where I have been dealing with Winnie, for the most part, she has been ok but she is TERRIBLE with communication - it is so difficult to get hold of her.
Winnie had told me that the rust is really bad and we will need to respray the entire vehicle and that she needs to get approval from the Mahindra head office - (The rust could have been caused by being on the docks for too long because of Covid)
During this time the aircon light also broke - since then the aircon light was replaced and the vent distributors and a little bit of other work were done on the vehicle but the ball joints were never replaced.
I then phoned Winnie again and she apparently wants to take my vehicle to a different panel beater to get an additional quote during this time I also phoned Bruno and he wants me to bring the vehicle into the Edenvale branch to check the ball joints and the paintwork himself (which he knew about from the time I purchased the vehicle)
I love the vehicle (besides the noise it makes when turning) its a terrible noise.
Mahindra Eastrand branch subsequently came to collect the car again and replaced the ball joints (apparently) but the noise was still there.
Yet again, they came to collect the care to now replace the tie rod ends, the car was fine, but then again after 2 weeks - the noise was back again?
I have contacted Ryan and Warren on numerous occasions but they do not seem to follow through with their promises to repair the vehicle - as a customer YOU HAVE TO CONSTANTLY reach out to them to get any help???
The paint has yet to be replaced as well and it seems that anytime you phone someone at the Edenvale or Eastrand branch you just get referred all over the place?
Surely there is someone at Mahindra that can resolve these problems please?
It has been a year and a half of problems?
