Very disappointing and unprofessional experience with Mahindra Bryanston.

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience with Mahindra Bryanston. I saw a Suzuki Celerio advertised on AutoTrader and contacted the dealership. I was referred to a sales consultant, and after discussing the vehicle, we agreed on a price for a cash deal. I clearly confirmed with the consultant that I would be coming through to collect the vehicle. I then made the trip from Pretoria to Bryanston specifically to purchase the car. After viewing the vehicle and when I was ready to make payment, I was suddenly informed by the sales consultant that Head Office had declined my offer because another client had apparently already paid a deposit and had made a better offer. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating, especially considering that the price had already been agreed upon and I had made the journey from Pretoria based on the understanding that the vehicle was available to me at the agreed price. In my view, this could and should have been communicated to me before I travelled to the dealership and prepared to make payment. The entire experience was unprofessional and demonstrated very poor communication and customer service. I would not recommend Mahindra Bryanston to anyone based on my experience. A customer’s time and money should be respected, and this situation could have been handled far more professionally.
