Popular Mechanics: false marketing

I subscribed to Popular Mechanics on 16 March 2015. Part of the marketing angle was to receive a free gift, in this case a Tech 4220 Energiser Powerbank. After a month (22 April 15) I sent a mail asking for progress of the gift. The reply was that they were awaiting supply. I sent a follow up the 29 May only to be told the same thing. It is now the end of August and still no feedback or power bank. I find this to be false advertising and unprofessional. It's amazing how many letters I received asking me to renew my subscription and to get this aftersales service is shocking.<br> I have since bought a power bank and don't need another, I do however want some resolution to this.
