Do not buy from Magreth - they are ********!

I paid for my order on 14 September 2022 and on the website (www.magreth.com) it showed the product was in stock. In fact it still shows that it is in stock. I received a confirmation email that my order was received and would be making its way over to me soon. A couple of days passed and every time I checked the website it shows that my order is unfulfilled. After a week passed, I called the company, a man answered the phone, when I asked for his name, he would not give his name and just said "this is Magreth". He told me that they were still waiting for my order. I told him on the website it stated the product is in stock and he told me I must wait because they are awaiting for their stock to arrive.

Days passed and I made contact again, this time via WhatsApp. The response that I got was that there have been delays with DHL. I started getting suspicious and responded that this is a **** and kept asking for a refund. On 29 September 2022 someone by the name of Emma called me assuring me that they are not running a **** and that they have been delayed by DHL not delivering their orders. I asked for a refund and Emma told me that she will process my refund by contacting Peach Payments to do a reversal as I was clear that I do not trust them and do not want to give my banking details to them. Emma assured me that I do not need to give my bank details as Peach Payments can reverse the transactions.

I have tried to send several emails to the *** email address listed on their website but always received failure notices. I have made used of the chat service on the Magreth website and asked when can I expect my refund. On Monday, 3 October 2022 Emma called me and said my order arrived and she can ship it to me on Tuesday (4 Oct 2022) but since I asked for the refund it is up to me if I want the refund or the product. She said that she can contact Peach Payments and tell them not to proceed with the refund as she will ship the product to me on Tuesday morning. She will phone me again on Tuesday morning but I should have the order by Thursday, 6 Oct 2022. I have not received any refund and of course no product and Emma never called me back.

I have sent messages via WhatsApp and the Magreth website and did not get any response. On 7 October when I called Magreth the same guy answered the call, and when I asked to speak to Emma he just ignored me and wanted to know why I was calling. I explained to him that Emma told me my order would be delivered and he started shouting at me and told me that I asked for a refund and they don't have my money, the money is with the bank. The more I tried to explain what Emma told me the more he started shouting at me an then he ended the call while I was still speaking.

This company is clearly a ****, on the website everything looks legitimate but the minute they have your money, then everything starts to change.

Another point to note, two different contact numbers are listed on the website. The number that ends with 3591 is the so called Magreth number. Then there is another number that ends with 4262 - when I checked this number's WhatsApp profile it states it is a Business Account for "Buyinstor Shopping and Retail". Why would there be two different numbers for two different companies? Probably all in cahoots with their elaborate ****.
