WARNING TO NEW PAVING CUSTOMERS-BEWARE OF MAGNUM

On 17 October last year Kevin de Wit, from Magnum Civil and Paving Contractors, gave us a good quote for paving to be done. We paid R26,000 deposit (to buy the tiles). The week before Christmas his people came and removed all our existing paving / cement causing flooding. After numerous calls and searches he said he had no money, we must buy the tiles ourselves. <br> Over New Year two of his workers came to our house saying he did not pay them.<br> We bought the tiles and wanting to get value for our R26,000, agreed to let his men do the paving. After 3 days of the men often not here, we spoke to them. Kevin had not paid them over Christmas (*********). Kevin had not paid them for the last job they did for him (*********). We cut Kevin out and paid the workers directly, hiring the tools needed, etc. <br> <br> Kevin de Wit and his Magnum Paving is ************. He ducks and dives. He makes excuses left right and centre.
