Don´t trust them with their promised "All-In" door to door delivery without additional costs

<p>We relocated from SA / Gauteng / Centurion to Austria / Vienna in December 2016. The German Community recommended MagnaThomson. We arranged with the Agent their "All-In" door to door delivery. As per the Agent NO additional costs, except for Insurance, customs (if applicable) and Govermnnt Organisation Fees. We were told that customs can inspect the container per randow choice, which is part of the procedure when you ship a container. The delivery time will be 6-8 weeks, but depends on the shipping vessel. We signed.....</p> <p>After that the Pick-up of our goods went OK. But after that silence no more service at all. Mid of January I asked the Agent from MagnaThomson were the container is..... We were told that customs can inspect the container per random choice, which is part of the normal procedure when you ship a container. If they find something we must pay the fees. The delivery time was scheduled with 6-8 weeks, but depends on the shipping vessel. We signed .....</p> <p>After that, the pick-up of our goods went OK, nice and good organized guys. But after first good impression silence, no more service / Information at all. Mid of January I asked the Agent from MagnaThomson were the container is..... Answer: Shipment only end of January, delivery only end of February.</p> <p>A week ago I got an E-Mail that the container is ready for delivery, but was picked by customs for an inspection and that we have to pay additional 325,-- Euros for the storage and handling costs, otherwise the European Partner of MagnaThomson are not delivering the container. After I pointed out that we signed an "All-In" door to door delivery, the answer from MagnaThomson´s Agent was that this is (now) an unexpected delay (as per contract) and we must carry the costs. The container will be held back now as a dead pledge until we pay the additional storage and handling costs .....</p> <p>So my résumé is that I can only recommend to leave the hands-off of that company and their “All-In” promises. I have to organize myself from Austria a lawyer to get my money back.....</p> <p>By the way delivery time from packing 21/11/2016 to delivery next week 08/03/2017 -> 16 weeks, if they are delivering the container.</p> <p> </p>
