Bad treatment by the Randburg Magistrates Court officials

On Tuesday, 17 September 2024 I needed assistance from one of the prosecutors there at the Randburg Magistrates Court. I needed clarity regarding a case that i had to cover, so apparently the dates were changed and the case was moved to the following day which is on the 18 September 2024.

So i needed to confirm the dates with the prosecutor who is in charge of the case i am covering. The prosecutor I was looking for happened to be in another prosecutor's office which the security guard showed me. They were busy discussing their own private matters, so i waited outside where they could see me. As soon as they were done they called me in, so as i always do, i greeted and stated why i was there. To my surprise in the middle of my explanation this prosecutor stops me and tells me how this is not my office and how that is also not the prosecutor i was taking to's office and that i should go back outside and wait for him there.

Which i don't understand why he called me into the office in the first place and why didn't he let me wait outside for the person i was looking for instead of him trying to cartoon me and embarrassing me in front of his colleagues, whereas i was not even there for him.

Honestly speaking this is the second review I'm writing about the Randburg Magistrates Court within a period of a month, i am super disappointed and disgusted by how they treat media employees, we are not valued. We will not tolerate this kind of treatment, I'm fed up these government employees acting like they own this country. We too have rights, we are human beings and we will not take this kind of treatment from both the security guards and the prosecutors.
