Bad service, attitude and disrespect.

<p>I went to the Magistrate's court in Bloemfontein on the 28/06/2017 to apply for a protection order against one of the tenants at the complex where I am staying.</p> <p> </p> <p>He threatened to beat me up and shoot me (he does have a fire arm); I went to the SAPS to open a case against him and drafted an affidavit to take it to the court to apply for the protection order.</p> <p> </p> <p>On my arrival, I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Frans, he was not helpful at all, he never read my affidavit, he just gave it one look and told me that it is vague, how can he say it's vague if he didn't even look at it. I don't think he knows the meaning of the word, I asked him how can it be vague if he did not even look at it.</p> <p> </p> <p>He then told me that it has to be at least 2 pages long, why do I need a two-page statement to apply for a protection order, I was assaulted and threatened, we had an argument regarding the statement, he then started telling me that he is the one working with such things, so he knows what he's talking about.</p> <p> </p> <p>He began raising his voice, but when I did the same, he told me that I must listen to him and stop talking, I then told him in order for me to listen to him, he must listen to me as well, it goes both ways. He did not even give me a chance to tell him what happened; he just dismissed me as if I am nothing.</p> <p> </p> <p>He told me that he will call the securities to come and take me out, I told him to do so, which he did not do, he then said the magistrate is going to dismiss my statement, I asked him how does he know, he said he just know, I told him he is not sure of that.</p> <p> </p> <p>He said he will bring the magistrate to me so that he can tell me himself, I answered and said bring him so that he can tell it to me, which he never did as well.</p> <p> </p> <p>He then took my affidavit, went to the magistrate and after a few hours came back and told me that my application is dismissed, because there is no evidence and that it is not an assault case.</p> <p> </p> <p>On their form, they did not tick the "Affidavit by the Applicant in the form of form 2 - EHIBIT A" check-box, when I asked him why they did not tick it, he said it's not him it's the magistrate, and I must go to the police station and open a case.</p> <p> </p> <p>The gentleman's attitude was from the beginning very bad and he was rude.
