Debt review and clearance letter
Assisted me alonge with Elite group after I mislead into debt review,which was great honestly. The process was done within the time lines and all was well. The problems because after I paid all the debt which was under debt review and requested a clearance letter. Its been two months of “we are escalating to legal” and its really frustrating

Upon following up on your matter, we established that the clearance process could not be finalised because Meerkat's records reflected outstanding aftercare fees.
These fees had, however, already been paid by you around 2024, but the payment had unfortunately not been correctly identified on their side.

We are pleased to confirm that Meerkat has now verified the payment and confirmed that there are no outstanding amounts due. They have further confirmed that the clearance certificate will now be issued.
We understand that waiting for two months and repeatedly being advised that the matter was being escalated was frustrating, and we apologise for the inconvenience this caused. We appreciate your patience while the matter was being resolved and are glad that the process can now proceed to completion.
